Friguia Animal Park (Km. 88, Bouficha) – located just north of Sousse, this wildlife park, set up by the Kanta Hotel, Port El Kantaoui, Sousse, was created in collaboration with South African and European specialists, and it participates in a world program to save endangered species. Over 30 animal species live in large enclosures at this park. There are dolphin and sea lion shows, and school children have the option of riding on camels and donkeys. Admission: 11 Dt. (adult), 7 Dt (children 3-12 years), free for children under 3 years. Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (daily – closed on Mondays).
